تعلن وزارة التعليم العالي والبحث العلمي والابتكار بأنه تقرر إغلاق القنصلية العامة في أستراليا وذلك اعتباراً من تاريخ 31 ديسمبر 2023م، وإنشاء ملحقية ثقافية في كانبرا تتبع سفارة سلطنة عمان في أستراليا اعتباراً من 1 يناير 2024م، وسوف يكون العمل عن بعد خلال هذه الفترة إلى أن تفتح السفارة رسميا، حيث يمكن للطلبة التواصل في الجوانب الأكاديمية والمالية مع المشرفين كل حسب اختصاصه كما هو مبين أدناه

We regret to inform you that the Consulate General of The Sultanate of Oman office in Melbourne is closing permanently as of 31/12/2023 and as a result, civil and commercial legalisation of documents will be paused from 28/12/2023 to 21/01/2024. Last date we will be receiving new documents is 27/12/2023, so kindly ensure to send us any documents you currently have as soon as possible.

We understand the significance of documents legalisation, and we assure you that we are actively working to provide you with the updates.

We will notify you promptly once the new address is available for documents submissions.

At The Consulate General of The Sultanate of Oman, we are continuously striving to enhance the quality of service we provide to our customers. In line with this commitment, we have an important update to announce.

Starting 13^th of September 2023, we will be transitioning to an appointment-only service model. This means that we will no longer be able to accommodate walk-in customers. Instead, all services will be provided by appointment only.

We understand that this change may raise questions, and we want to clarify the reasons behind this decision:

1. Improved Customer Experience: By scheduling appointments, we can ensure that our staff is fully prepared to serve you efficiently and promptly, reducing wait times and providing a more personalized experience.
2. Enhanced Safety: This transition allows us to manage customer flow better and maintain service measures, contributing to the safety and well-being of both our customers and staff.
3. Efficiency and Convenience: Appointments enable us to allocate the right resources for specific services, reducing wait times and making the process more convenient for you.

Booking an appointment with us is easy and convenient. Here’s how it works:

1. Booking via E-mail: Please email us at c.general@oman.org.au to schedule an appointment.
2. Phone Booking: You can also call us at 03 9820 4096 during our business hours (9am – 4pm) to schedule an appointment over the phone.

We appreciate your understanding and cooperation as we implement this change.

On the occasion of the Holy Month of Ramadan, The Consulate General of the Sultanate of Oman’s working hours will be from 10am to 3pm, Monday to Friday (Melbourne Time) starting Thursday 23rd of March 2023 until Friday 21st of April 2023.

In line with the recent COVID-19 restrictions in Victoria, The Consulate General of The Sultanate of Oman is currently closed.

بناء على التحديثات التي تقوم بها شركات الاتصالات بولاية فكتوريا على شبكة الاتصالات المحلية ، والمتعلقة بترقية شبكة خطوط الهاتف الأرضية بما في ذلك خطوط هاتف مقر القنصلية العامة ، عليه .. يسر القنصـلية العامة لسلطنة عمان بأستراليا إفادة جميع الرعايا والطلبة العمانيين بأن خطوط الهاتف التابعة للقنصلية العامة ستكون معطلة إعتبارا من يوم الإثنين : 08 / 02 / 2021 م وحتى إنتهاء الشركة المنفذة من كافة أعمالها والذي سيتم الإعلان عنه في وقت لاحق ، حيث يمكن للجميع التواصل مع كافة تقسيمات القنصلية العامة خلال ساعات العمل الرسمية ( من الإثنين إلى الجمعة : 9 صباحا – 4 مساء ) من خلال قنوات التواصل الآتية
