Announcement – Transitioning to Appointment-Only Service

At The Consulate General of The Sultanate of Oman, we are continuously striving to enhance the quality of service we provide to our customers. In line with this commitment, we have an important update to announce.

Starting 13th of September 2023, we will be transitioning to an appointment-only service model. This means that we will no longer be able to accommodate walk-in customers. Instead, all services will be provided by appointment only.

We understand that this change may raise questions, and we want to clarify the reasons behind this decision:

  1. Improved Customer Experience: By scheduling appointments, we can ensure that our staff is fully prepared to serve you efficiently and promptly, reducing wait times and providing a more personalized experience.
  2. Enhanced Safety: This transition allows us to manage customer flow better and maintain service measures, contributing to the safety and well-being of both our customers and staff.
  3. Efficiency and Convenience: Appointments enable us to allocate the right resources for specific services, reducing wait times and making the process more convenient for you.

Booking an appointment with us is easy and convenient. Here’s how it works:

  1. Booking via E-mail: Please email us at c.general@oman.org.au to schedule an appointment.
  2. Phone Booking: You can also call us at 03 9820 4096 during our business hours (9am – 4pm) to schedule an appointment over the phone.
