Monthly allowance
The monthly allowance is paid in advance on the 20th of each month (for example, the allowance for March is paid on February 20th).
Annual study allowance
It is paid once a year, where it is paid to students on March 20th of each year for those starting their studies in the first half of the year, and the same allowance is paid on July 20th of each year for students starting their studies in the second half of the academic year.

Cargo allowance
The graduate students need to email the financial department at the cultural attaché office (accounts@oman.org.au) and provide proof of successfully completing their academic program to receive the cargo allowance.
Project Allowance
Provided once during the scholarship period, and students are advised to spend it when needed.
Tuition Fees
The cultural attaché office is responsible for paying the tuition fees to the universities for sponsored students based on the financial guarantee issued by the cultural attaché office or the Ministry of Higher Education, Research, and Innovation.
Changing Bank Account:
If a student changes his or her bank account, he or she must send an email to the accounts department at the cultural attaché office to request the change of bank account information and provide the specialists with the new account details.
Medical Expenses Reimbursement:
The student submits medical treatment invoices to the health insurance company to request reimbursement for treatment costs. Typically, the health insurance company reimburses the student for these expenses. If the company does not fully reimburse the student, they must obtain a letter from the insurance company stating the total treatment expenses and the amount reimbursed. The student then sends an email to the financial department at the cultural attaché office, attaching the mentioned letter, to request reimbursement for the incurred amount. Please note that if the student requires dental treatment, prior approval from the attaché office is necessary to cover the treatment costs. Reimbursement is not provided for chronic conditions or pre-existing illnesses.
Compensation for Visa Renewal:
Compensation is provided if the student obtains approval from the Ministry of Higher Education, Research, and Innovation to extend the duration of the academic program, defer the academic program, change the course of study, or change the university.
