Oman’s Fatma Al Nabhani enters quarterfinals in Lagos

 

Oman’s Fatma Al Nabhani stormed into the singles quarterfinals of the $25,000 ITF Pro Circuit Governor’s Cup tournament in Lagos.

The Omani star eased to a 6-4, 6-0 victory over Alexandra Riley of the U.S. in her second round match and booked a place in the last eight stage.

In the quarterfinals, Fatma will take on second seeded Slovakian Tadeja Majeric.

Earlier in the first round, Fatma defeated Swedish qualifier Anette Munozova 6-2, 6-3.

Fatma had also reached the quarterfinals of the doubles competition in the company of Ukrainian Valeriya Strakhova
